Minneapolis Kids Jr is a full-day, school-year child care program from Minneapolis Kids for four-year-old preschool children. Offering a safe, nurturing, educational and recreational experience specifically designed for children entering kindergarten the following school year.
Led by our experienced and caring staff and implementing a daily schedule that promotes kindergarten readiness, children will have opportunities to pursue interests, and develop friendships, independence and confidence.
Must be 4 years of age by September 1st, and entering kindergarten the following school year.
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30 am-6:00 pm
Dates: September 7, 2023-June 14, 2024
The program will follow the MPS calendar.
$300 per week (a $30 non-refundable registration fee is charged to all first-time users).

- We implement Scholastic PreK On My Way curriculum
- Transportation is not provided.
- Children must be able to use the bathroom independently.
- Participants will be eligible to register for Minneapolis Kids Non-school day.
